{"id":1824,"date":"2022-10-13T11:20:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-13T11:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/avip.lt\/?p=1824"},"modified":"2023-06-27T05:45:32","modified_gmt":"2023-06-27T05:45:32","slug":"conference-tax-disputes-and-tax-law-problems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/avip.lt\/en\/news\/conference-tax-disputes-and-tax-law-problems\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference: Tax disputes and tax law problems"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference on the topic \u201cTax Disputes and Tax Law Problems&#8221; organised by the Tax Disputes Commission together with the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University was held for the second year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The panel discussion held after the conference discussed the topic \u201cWill environmental taxes remain in the position of a stepdaughter?\u201d The following issues were discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is the practice of tax disputes to reduce taxes not an incentive to not properly fulfill tax obligations?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Does the legal regulation of environmental taxes comply with the principle of proportionality?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Could more powers be granted to the environmental tax administrator?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion was attended by Vice Minister of Environment Raminta Radavi\u010dien\u0117, representative of the Department of Environmental Protection Andrius Bru\u017eas, lawyer Ema B\u016bt\u0117nien\u0117 and lawyer Beata Vilien\u0117 from the Law Firm AVIP.
